What We Do

Replenish is a food bank run in partnership by Newbury School Project and New Testament Church of God Erdington. Replenish aims to support individuals and families who are experiencing financial hardship due to interruptions with work or business. We aim to support those who would not necessarily receive support from other food banks but do require support. The principle behind Replenish is for those who may need and receive support right now give back to those in need in the future.

Our aim is to create a place where members of the public will feel welcomed to participate in accepting what New School Project(NSP) have to offer, giving them the confidence that they do not have to go without a meal as long as they can access NSP services. We also aim for Students to gain a qualification, as a part of an extra-curricular activity to teach them to ‘give back’ to society.

The supplier of food is FareShare where we currently have an account under the name of Replenish.  They are happy to supply NSP at a cost of £25 for 80kg as required. There is a delivery charge of £5 but free to collect from depot.

Staff will encourage those who are able to easily access the food bank to do so but aim to provide a delivery service to those who would struggle to obtain the food themselves.

Replenish was formed in April 2020 during the heights of a pandemic with the hope of positively supporting the community. Replenish operates on a referral based basis and will only donate food to those who have been referred by another organisation.
